The natural beauty of the setting combined with the couple's chemistry created a relaxed atmosphere filled with genuine laughter.

Engaged couples can find inspiration in Olivia and Parker’s approach: plan your engagement shoot around shared interests. This couple's affinity for golf brought them to scenic autumn landscapes, where vibrant foliage delivered a stunning backdrop. Starting in athletic wear paired with light sweaters, they posed next to their golf cart, which introduced a playful yet stylish edge to the shoot. As the session progressed into the golden hour, the couple switched into more formal outfits, capturing romantic, ethereal moments on the hillside.

Connection Through Shared Interests

Olivia and Parker's journey began much earlier during their elementary school years, where their paths first crossed on the basketball court. Their friendship flourished when Parker decided to sit beside Olivia on a school trip in junior high. Despite a brief teenage romance, life led them on different paths—until fate and golf united them again fifteen years later. They reconnected while playing golf with their parents, sharing tee times at their hometown course.

A simple hello turned into a memorable first date, reigniting their bond. Their engagement story, blissfully romantic, was set in the beautiful surroundings of Kiawah Island's The Ocean Course, where Parker proposed during a beloved round of golf. With golf being such a foundational part of their love life, it makes sense that they chose to reflect this in their engagement session.

A Meaningful Venue

Reflecting on their choice of Longue Vue Club for their engagement shoot, the couple expressed, “Golf is not only a hobby of ours individually but has also played a vital role in our relationship.” Their decision was deeply personal, wanting a location that mirrored their journey together. The historic setting of Longue Vue Club, paired with vibrant autumn colors, served as the perfect canvas for their love story.

Throughout the shoot, Olivia and Parker engaged in playful banter and heartfelt moments, aided by Kaitlin’s ability to make them feel comfortable and connected. The highlight of their experience was the spontaneity of different locations on the course, which allowed for candid and joyful interactions caught on camera. The golden hour light illuminated their surroundings, wrapping them in romance as they celebrated their unique story.

Cherishing the Day

The couple cherished the magic of their engagement shoot, which they described as a day filled with laughter, warmth, and love. They appreciated how their key moments were captured - from the genuine smiles at the cart to the intimate golden hour shots that truly felt like a cinematic experience. Other couples might take note of their approach, which balances fun and elegance, resulting in imagery that tells a definitive love story.
