Crafting a Dream Wedding: Alex and Bradley's Celebration in Marathon Village

In the world of weddings, it's a rare delight to be part of the same family's celebrations multiple times. For Alex and Bradley Norris, who recently tied the knot at the charming "Room with a View" in Marathon Village, it was a chance for their family to come together once again, especially since Bradley's sister had chosen the same team for her wedding the previous November.

From the outset, it was clear that Alex and Bradley were deeply invested in shaping their wedding day. Their vision centered on an intimate atmosphere that resonated with personal touches. Both were eager to contribute creatively, and their enthusiasm invigorated the planning process. Notably, Bradley constructed the ceremony structure himself, while Alex showcased her artistic flair by designing key decorative elements, such as the elegantly crafted table numbers.

Setting the Scene

The venue, “Room with a View,” provided a beautiful backdrop for the couple's classic wedding. With its inviting ambiance and panoramic perspectives, it was the perfect setting for an affair that combined traditional elements with modern flair. As the floral design team, we collaborated closely with Alex and Bradley to ensure that our work would complement their vision.

Floral Arrangements

One of Alex's primary requests was for a color palette that featured white florals paired with varied greenery, aiming for a timeless yet contemporary aesthetic. To achieve this, we selected an array of white blooms, including ranunculus, Moonstone and Playa Blanca roses, as well as snowflake spray roses. To enhance these blooms, we incorporated a diverse selection of greenery, such as olive branches, Italian ruscus, and multiple types of eucalyptus, injecting both texture and depth into the arrangements.

A standout aspect of the floral designs was the memorial backdrop that adorned the couple’s sweetheart table. This heartfelt display combined mixed greenery with pillar candles and warm votives, creating a soft glow. Additionally, family photos of loved ones who had influenced Alex and Bradley's lives were featured prominently, symbolizing the importance of family bonds and cherished memories. This backdrop not only enhanced the visual appeal of the setting but also captured the essence of their close-knit family.

Working with a Talented Team

Beyond our floral contributions, this wedding came together thanks to the collaboration of talented vendors. The couple chose Kendall Parsons for photography, ensuring that each precious moment would be beautifully captured. An elegant bridal shop, Brides By Glitz, provided the perfect wedding attire. For receptions filled with music, Premier was on hand as the DJ, setting the mood for a lively celebration.

In addition to the aesthetic elements, the couple focused on personal touches in beauty and design. Makeup was delicately handled by Primp This, while hair was styled by the talented Tabby Coombs. With each detail intentionally curated, every vendor played a crucial role in bringing Alex and Bradley’s wedding vision to life.

A Celebration of Love

Ultimately, Alex and Bradley's wedding was a true reflection of their love story intertwined with creative collaboration. Witnessing their passion, creativity, and the involvement of their family throughout the planning process made the day all the more meaningful. The couple's commitment to celebrating each moment with loved ones resonated throughout the event.

As they embark on this new chapter as husband and wife, we extend our heartfelt wishes to Alex and Bradley. It was an honor to share in their joy and to be part of their journey. We hope to have the opportunity to work with their family in the future, continuing this beautiful tradition of love and celebration.

For those considering a similar wedding, the intimate and unique elements presented in Alex and Bradley's event serve as a wonderful example of how to create a personal touch that honors both love and family.
